    Recently restored traditional cottage all on one level in picturesque elevated setting with ample parking.

    This renovated early 20th century cottage,on a working farm by the border between Fife and Kinross-shire, is airy and roomy. The sitting/diningroom is comfortably furnished and has an open fire. There are two bedrooms, each with a double and single bed. 

    The area has a strong history and Loch Leven Castle, where Mary, Queen of Scots was held prisoner, is within easy reach of the cottage. Perth and Edinburgh are within 25 and 40 minutes travel respectively via the  M90, which is 5 miles to the west.

    There is a R.S.P.B. Reserve and a  National Nature Reserve in close proximity.

    • Laundry Facilities on Complex There is a washing machine in the cottage and and outside drying line. There is also a tumble drier available in the outhouse beside the back door of the farmhouse.

    Public Transport Directions

    Getting there by aeroplane:- From Edinburgh Airport, intercity buses run to Kinross which is 8 miles away. Transport from there to the farm can be arranged if required.
    Getting there by train:- There are stations in Kirkcaldy and Lochgelly from which transport to the farm can be arranged if required.
