Dating back to 1625, the family-run Balcary Bay Hotel is a charming country house located on the beautiful shores of Balcary Bay, near Castle Douglas.
The hotel is ideally situated for exploring the great outdoors with walking and touring and plenty of choice for the golfer, angler and birdwatcher. Spend your days exploring the romantic seascapes over the Mull of Galloway, walking amongst the Moffat Hills, enjoying some of Scotland's finest gardens and exploring the nearby historic houses. By night, take in a show at Castle Douglas' Lochside Theatre or visit some of the town's local pubs for a wee dram and a chat with the locals.
