Balglassie Cottage is situated in the Angus countryside, between Forfar and Brechin. It is a former workers cottage, on a working farm, overlooking the river South Esk. It makes an ideal base for Touring, Visiting the Angus Glens, Beaches, Nature Reserves and Recreational facilities, all with in easy reach.
The Cottage has a lounge/dinning room, Kitchen, Bathroom (with electric shower) ,3 Bed rooms which can sleep up to 6 people. It is comfortably furnished and well equipped. Electricity is supplied by £1 coin metre. There is an electric cooker, microwave oven, washing machine and an immersion heater. The Cottage has its own garden and ample parking.
Fishing : Private Salmon and Sea Trout fishing may be available on the Balglassie beat of the River South Esk. Details available on request.

The Aberlemno Area Has many places of interest, such as Aberlemno Parish Church, Pictish Standing Stones, and the remains of an Iron Age Fort on Finavon Hill. The Birth Place of the Harley Davidson Family (Harley Davidson Motor Bikes) who also welcome visitors, it is less then 1 mile from our cottage! Brechin Castle Garden Centre, where Pictavia is Based, which tells the story of the Ancient Picts. Aberdeen, St Andrew, Dundee, Perth and Pitlochry are all within an hours drive of the cottage.
