Ballat Smithy, Balfron Station, by Drymen, Stirlingshire, G63 0SE

Ballat Smithy Cottage is a charming, high quality, two bedroom cottage sympathetically created from original workshops of Ballat Smithy, built at the end of the 18th Century as one of the smithies for the Buchanan estates of the Duke of Montrose.

This sunny south facing cottage is ideally situated midway between the tranquil east shores of Loch Lomond and the majestic grandeur of the Trossachs, on the edge of the Loch Lomond & the Trossachs National Park, with views of the Campsie Fells and the surrounding fields and woods.
