Location: Most southerly restaurant, with cliff walks overlooking the Pentland Firth

Directions: From Kirkwall - take the A961 out of Kirkwall signposted to Burray and South Ronaldsay. Follow this road through Holm, across 4 Churchill Barriers and keep going towards Burwich. Just as you approach the bottom of the island, turn left and follow the signs for the Tomb of the Eagles, Banks of Orkney & Skerries Bistro. Go past the gated entrance to the Tomb and straight up towards the cliffs. Banks is the white farmhouse with a 'conservatory style' bistro.

We serve freshly prepared food and where possible we use Orkney produce. During the day, we offer fresh vegetable soup, baked tatties, toasted baguettes, sandwiches and daily main dishes. We have a variety of different coffees and selection of teas. There are cream teas, desserts and cakes. We are licensed and have a range of wine and beers (including Orkney produced). During the evening, we have a range of starters, main courses and desserts. We have vegetarian and gluten free dishes and can cater for special diets.

Average Lunchtime Price: Soup £3.95, Sandwiches from £3.75, Cream Tea £4.50, Daily meals from £6.95.

Average Evening Meal: Starters from £3.50, Main Courses from £6.95, Desserts from £3.50.
