    We are a small family run guest house with amazing views overlooking the Firth of Clyde and distant Islands. We have 6 bedrooms, three of them being sea view. Five are en-suite, the single room has a private toilet down 10 stairs.

    Conveniently situated for the town, bus & ferry on the traffic free West Bay Promenade. We have six rooms, 3 are sea view, 5 are en-suite the single having a private toilet. Our large spacious lounge with panoramic views over the Firth of Clyde offers a relaxing place of peace & quiet. A large selection of books are available & games to play. For the energetic only a short walk away we have the breathtaking Bishop's Glen. An array of wildlife live & can be seen here, including the delightful, gorgeous red squirrels. A network of tracks form easy walks around the well stocked reservoir, the longer challenging trails through the forest give wonderful views and can take you to the Bishop's Seat.

    Benmore Botanic Gardens & Puck's Glen are a short drive or bus ride away. A swimming pool, crazy golf, cycling, bowls, golf, Castle House museum, & fishing are past times found in the locality. Dunoon is an ideal base for sight seeing & touring the Cowal Peninsula, taking in areas such as Tighnabruaich, The Kyles of Bute, Inverary even Glasgow is within easy reach.

    Evening meals are available by prior arrangement, home cooking, likes and dislikes catered for as are special dietary requirements.

    Public Transport Directions

    From the nearest information centre:- From Tourist Information Centre turn right and proceed to mini roundabout at main ferry terminal, turn left and proceed past McColls Hotel, immediately turn left down Park Avenue, cross Clyde Street and turn right to Hotel. If on foot, before McColls veer left at Yachtsman Cafe, along Promenade to hotel. Approximately 300 metres.

    Getting there by railway:- From Glasgow Central take train to Gourock, boarding Argyll ferry (passenger only) at Gourock Station. On leaving ferry turn left along Promenade for about 500 metres until you reach the hotel.

    Getting there by aeroplane:- From Glasgow Airport take M8 by car or train from Paisley to Gourock. As foot passenger take Argyll ferry to Dunoon, on leaving the ferry turn left and walk along the promenade, our garden has a gate onto the promenade. By car take Western fery from McInroy's point Gourock to Hunters Quay. On leaving the ferry turn left through Kirn and into Dunoon at the 2nd small roundabout with the pier on the left take the left turn, past McColls Hotel, left down Park Avenue across Clyde Street and turn right, we are the 4th accommodation along, our car park is at the front.

    Getting there by ferry:- From Gourock take Argyll ferry as a passenger only. By car Western Ferry to Dunoon. Follow directions given for aeroplane arrival.
