Beautiful 19th century former church, tastefully converted into quality budget accommodation.

Located in a peaceful riverside setting, this lively hostel is only a short walk from Princes Street. Rooms accommodate 4 to 10 people or for those requiring extra privacy, our double/twin rooms are ideal. Facilities include licensed residents' lounge, cable TV, internet access, secure storage, superb kitchen, hot showers and free bed linen.

From the nearest information centre:- Turn left out of the Tourist Information Centre on to Princes Street and proceed to the west end. Pass Shandwick Place, continuing until you reach Palmerston Place on the right. Turn down Palmerston Place and follow the road to its end. Belford Hostel is the converted church at the corner, on the right.

Getting there by railway:- From Edinburgh's Waverley Railway Station, proceed to the west end of Princes Street, pass Shandwick place, continue until you reach Palmerston Place on the right. Getting there by aeroplane:- From Edinburgh Airport, take the airport bus to Haymarket. Continue along West Maitland Street and turn left into Palmerston Place, then Douglas Gardens. Belford Hostel is the converted church at the corner, on the right.
