Ben Bheula, an ideal base for tourist and walkers alike.
Ben Bheula is an old foresters cottage that has been modernised to provide comfortable guest rooms with stunning views over loch long and the village of Arrochar.
Our rooms are cosy and comfortable with en suite facilities, an abundance of hot water, stunning views and comfortable beds.
Breakfast is a hearty affair served in the conservatory overlooking the loch. Vegetarians welcome.
Evening meals can be made available by prior arrangement for late arrivals or those who've walked all day!
We are an ideal base for walking holidays with paths straight from our front door. Your host is a MTB qualified walking group/mountain leader who will be available to advise on routes or even accompany less confident walkers!
Park your car in our private car park and forget it!
Facilities for drying and storing gear are available and flasks and lunches can be arranged if needed.
Secure storage for bicycles is also available.
Ben Bheula is situated at the edge of the village with woodland to two sides. The village is easily accessed by rail, trains from Glasgow direct to Tarbet / Arrochar. Glasgow airport is 45 minutes from us and airport pickups can be arranged.
Within easy travelling distance are the interesting towns of Inveraray, Balloch or a bit further afield Dunoon, Oban and Campletown.
Loch Lomond is 2 miles from the village with all the attractions it offers. Loch Fyne and Loch Eck are both 20 minutes drive.
We are open all year round.
Special discounts at off peak times - see Visit Scotland bookings section for details.
Pets welcome but please call first with details.
