The Best Western Kings Manor Hotel in Edinburgh is a family owned and managed hotel in Edinburgh's eastern suburbs, around 10-15 minutes from the city centre itself yet only 10 minutes walk from Portobello beach.
It is located just off the main A1 trunk road and is easily reached via the A720 city bypass.
A frequent bus service links to the city centre from the hotel entrance and a fast direct rail link leaves from a few hundred yards from the hotel. Leave your car in our 130 space car park and enjoy the freedom of no parking worries in the city centre.
The main hotel was built in the 1840's and the building has been steadily developed to its current size with a 30 bedroom extension being completed in November 2006 to give over 90 well appointed bedrooms.
Single, twin, double, triple and family rooms are available and the new extension has added the benefit of a number of rooms with interconnecting doors.
The hotel has a room specifically adapted for wheelchair users.
Lauders Restaurant provides Breakfast and Dinner and Options Bistro offers a lighter meal alternative and is open all day at weekends.
Bar Zest is our lively glass fronted , air-conditioned bar where residents and locals mix to enjoy our range of beers and wines and perhaps to watch our giant tv screens.
Our Fountain Spa leisure club has a 20-metre pool, sauna, steam room, spa bath, tennis court, aerobics suite and large gym (age restrictions apply to some facilities). Our balcony therapy centre offers a wide range of health and beauty treatments (pre booking prior to arrival is essential).
The Kings Manor is well placed for the visitor to Scotland's capital being within easy reach of the cities attractions yet in a safe, peaceful neighbourhood ensuring a relaxing break. East Lothian's golf links and the historic border towns are just a short drive to the east and south.
