The house is warm and cosy, with a wood burning fire being a feature of the kitchen and dining room, and raised sun-room area. A comfortable lounge with doors opening out to the front garden and view across the river to the trees and the hill beyond. Upstairs there are two bedrooms. It is a clever conversion, and offers modern, comfortable and stylish accommodation, with private gardens and parking. The house is ideally suited to 2 to 4 guests. (No smoking/no pets).
Great care and attention is paid to ensuring our guests have a comfortable stay. You may choose your preference from our range of quality bed linens. All beds will be made up for especially for you – sheets are Egyptian percale cotton, for pillows and duvets choose luxury goose-down/ hypoallergenic or cotton cellular blankets. White towels, top covers, throw-over rugs, hot water bottles, all provided. The beds are slightly longer than usual, and can be arranged as twins, or zipped together to make a super king-size. There are two upstairs bedrooms. The front bedroom has an en-suite bath, basin & toilet. The rear bedroom has a power shower (on the landing, and toilet and basin, just downstairs).
The house is very well equipped with everything you might need. There is a 40 “ plasma screen Sky TV, MP3 player, TV's and DVD's in all rooms. W-Fi Internet access, and ex directory telephone. The kitchen has electric hob, oven, microwave, dishwasher, fridge, freezer, toasted sandwich maker, George Foreman grill, rice-cooker, slow-cooker. There are ample pots, pans, cook-ware, crockery, cutlery and glassware. For outdoors we have garden furniture, sun-loungers, picnic chairs, portable barbecue, walking sticks, & binoculars. Loch Earn is just about 100 yards away, ideal to picnic on one of the little pebble beaches and watch the world go by.
The rental rates include changeover house-keeping costs, electricity and logs, and also a starter pack (bacon, eggs, bread, milk, butter) (or vegetarian option). In the kitchen cupboards we have a stock of most general basic grocery items, tea, coffee, sugar, pasta, rice, oil, sauces, condiments, tinned goods, jams, marmalade, pickles etc. The idea is that guests are always able to prepare a meal on arrival, whatever time of day or night. All we ask is that you participate by kindly replacing anything that runs out.

St Fillans 9-hole Golf Course is a short walk from the house, and is situated in a most attractive in the valley between the high hills, and offers wonderful golf in beautiful surroundings, and good wholesome home-made meals.
There are three hotels in St. Fillans, and in our neighbouring village of Comrie (about 6 miles) has two hotels, fuel station, bank, butcher, chemist, grocery store, cafe, delicatessen, restaurant, fish and chip shop, hairdresser etc. The pretty market town of Crieff is 12 miles to the east of St. Fillans.
