Situated around the harbour of Lochboisdale, These 3 properties recently renovated, and new to the market, offer individual charm and the comforts of home. With Borrodale self catering you can find the type of accommodation which suites your needs best. Calabhaigh house, originally the Sorting office and telex station stands proud, next to the new Harbour development. This is a functional house for large groups or families. Bank House , ideal for Fishing or Golfing groups or large families, sits on an elevated site overlooking the bay. It has retained its grandeur with high ceilings and a beautiful curved stair, where as Harbour Cottage, the ideal hideaway, with its modern furnishings has still kept the cosy cottage feel with the log effect burning stove.
CALABHAIGH HOUSE - sleeps 8 comfortably in 3 Twin rooms & 1 Double room. 3 Bath/Shower (2 en suite). Cot & fold down bed can be provided The light and airy lounge makes a perfect place to gather after a busy day. With satellite TV & DVD player. The kitchen is fully fitted with electric cooker, microwave washing machine and fridge.

HARBOUR COTTAGE - Sleeps 4 comfortably in 1 Double & 1 Twin room. Cot & Fold Down Bed can be provided. Bathroom on the first floor. There is a cosy lounge with Leather suite, log effect stove, Satellite TV & DVD player. The dining room is spacious & modern and leads onto the kitchen which has Cooker, Microwave & Washing Machine. There is a small drying area at the side of the property.


BANK HOUSE - Sleeps 8 comfortably in 3 Twin and 1 Double, 3 Bath/shower.
The lounge with its high ceilings and crystal chandelier has panoramic views of the bay. TV & DVD player, leather suite and a selection of board games. The large kitchen is fully fitted with dishwasher and a sitting area where you could easily prepare a meal before retiring to the Dining room. There is ample storage for fishing tackle, golf clubs or what ever your interest.

Any of the 3 houses would make an ideal base for exploring the Uists and neighbouring islands. Situated by the ferry terminal and next to the tourist office. Lochboisdale also offers a Bank & ATM machine, Fuel station, Pub, Butchers, Grocers & small selection of shops offering hardware and souvenirs. The houses are managed by Borrodale Hotel which is situated in Daliburgh (2.5 miles). If you want to take it a bit easier, meals and packed lunches can be arranged by the Borrodale hotel.
