Road Directions
A1 driving from both south (Newcastle) and north (Edinburgh) to Berwick upon Tweed,. As you approach Berwick keep on the A1 (do not go into the town). Driving from Newcastle take the A6105 signposted on your left to Duns,Foulden, Chirnside. Driving from Edinburgh when you come to the big roundabout at Berwick, Morrisons on your left, keep on the A1 towards Newcastle. After about quarter mile take the A6105 on your right. After about 4 miles on the A6105 you will pass the Scotland / Scottish Borders sign on this road, carry on for approximately 3 miles. Brae House is on your right just beyond the sign to Edington (large polytunnel in the garden) with the entrance to the house on the side road on your right.

From the nearest information centre:- Eyemouth Information Centre - Take the B6355 via Ayton to Chirnside. Go through Ayton and carry on this road for approximately 2 miles. You will come to a hamlet of houses on your left. Take the next road on your left signposted to Edington Hill (this sign is sometimes obscured by foliage). Brae House is at the bottom of the road on your right.Getting there by railway:- Berwick upon Tweed East Coast and Cross Country main line station. There is a taxi rank at the station. Journey time to Brae House 15 minutes.
Getting there by aeroplane:- Edinburgh and Newcastle airports approx 1 hour - see above for onward journey by road or rail.
Getting there by ferry:- Ferry services to Newcastle and Edinburgh - see above for onward journey by road or rail.
