Braehead Farm

Braehead Farm is situated on a hill overlooking Scapa Flow, the Hoy Hills, and the town of Stromness. It is perfectly located to watch the MV Hamnavoe arriving and departing from the Stromness Harbour.

The surrounding area is also home to a variety of birds and other wildlife, and the seals can be seen basking in the sun from the dining area window. Braehead Farm is a working croft with beef cattle. It is situated 1.5 miles from the picturesque sea side town of Stromness and its small shops, restaurants and local supermarket. It is ideally located for visiting all the sites and attractions of the Island, with the main town of Kirkwall only a twenty minute drive away.

The accommodation is part of the farmhouse which was built in the 1900s, and has undergone much renovation since being built. It is a charming and well equipped dwelling.
