Well appointed detached villa built in 2006 lying on the north side of the village of Aviemore in the heart of Cairngorm National Park. From the upstairs rooms especially there are excellent views over the mountains both to east and west.
Aviemore offers a tremendous choice of activities for both young and old. It is excellent for walking, climbing, skiing (when snow is available), cycling, sailing, canoeing and bird watching. There are excellent golf courses in the vicinity including the well known James Braid designed jewel at Boat of Garten but nearer to hand is the new championship standard course at Spey Valley. For young children there are leisure activities in the village centre, Colymbridge, Dalfaber and Carrbridge. For steam train enthusiasts there is a train which runs from Aviemore through Boat of Garten to Nethy Bridge in the holiday season.
There is an excellent choice of restaurants and pubs in the village to suit all tastes and pockets. There is a Tesco supermarket with parking facilities within a mile of the house, general food and tourist shops are also found in the village. The MacDonald Centre houses a large variety of upmarket clothing, foodstuffs and general items.

Accommodation comprises on the ground floor entrance hall with hanging accommodation and storage cupboard, toilet and wash hand basin, lounge, dining room with patio doors leading to garden, fully fitted kitchen, utility room with back door: upstairs are two double bedrooms (one en suite), one twin bedded room and one single room, family bathroom (including electric shower) and drying cupboard. Gas central heating. Well laid out enclosed garden and good sized shed suitable for storage of bicycles etc.
Welcome: Keys can be obtained from the owners Mr. & Mrs. Sim as from 4.00 p.m. on the start date. The house must be vacated by 10.00 a.m. on day of departure. Keys should be handed back to the owners or posted through the front door first thing in the morning. If unsuitable alternative arrangements can be made with the owners.
Small welcome pack supplied i.e. oatcakes, coffee sachets, teabags, sugar sachets & jam.
Activities
Aviemore offers a tremendous choice of activities for both young and old. Principal activities for both young and old include climbing, skiing, sailing or kayaking in Loch Morlich and Loch Insh, fishing (subject to permit), quad biking or mountain biking, swimming or exercising in the new Aviemore Leisure Centre.
There are excellent walking facilities throughout the Cairngorm region to suit all fitness levels and ranger activities in the nearby Rothiemurchus Estate.
For golf enthusiasts there is an excellent choice of courses available suitable for all levels eg. championship standard courses at Spey Valley and Nairn and shorter but still attractive and challenging courses at Boat of Garten, Grantown on Spey, Newtonmore and Kingussie all within half an hour's drive.
For younger children there are abundances of leisure centres throughout the area including Landmark at Carrbridge, Aviemore Centre, Dalfaber and Colymbridge.
For wildlife enthusiasts there is the nearby Osprey Colony at Loch Garten, herds of deer, red squirrels and occasionally otters, badgers, pine martens, eagles, falcons and buzzards.
There is an excellent choice of restaurants and pubs in the village and in the Cairngorm area to suit all tastes and pockets.
Seasonal rates apply. Aviemore lies off the A9. There is a station in the centre providing a regular service to central Scotland and indeed a daily train to / from London. It is 40 minutes from Inverness airport by car.
