    The Braeval Hotel is an family run Pub-Hotel over-looking Nairn beach. This popular hotel recently won CAMRA Highland & Islands Pub of the Year 2014 for the third time for its welcoming character and range of real ales.

    The Braeval Hotel is an award-winning, family run Pub-Hotel and a central part of the Nairn community. The hotel's Bandstand Bar recently won CAMRA Highland Pub of the Year 2014 for the third time and Inverness District South Pub of the Year 2014 for the fifth time.  It has been shortlisted for Highlands and Islands Food & Drink Awards "Best Eatery" 2014 and for Scottish Licensed Trade Independent Pub of the Year 2014.  The hotel is Cask Marque accredited and in the Good Beer Guide. Each year the Bar hosts the Highlands largest independant beer festival. The Bar is lively and popular with a wide age group who come to enjoy the welcoming atmosphere and real ales.  It has over 100 single malt whiskies on its extensive whisky list.

    The hotel has 8 en suite bedrooms, some with lovely sea-views. The rooms vary in size, as expected in a traditional Victorian Villa.

    The large Sea View Restaurant has spectacular views of the Moray Firth where Bottlenose dolphins are regularly spotted swimming offshore. The menu includes Sea Food, Steaks and traditional Scottish produce. The Bandstand Restaurant is popular locally and guests should book their table in advance to avoid disappointment. Drinks and Bar Meals can be enjoyed in the Lounge Bar and Beer Garden.

    The hotel is located between Nairn's  two championship golf courses and a few minutes walk from Nairn's pretty harbour, town centre and Train and Bus Station. Castle Stuart Golf Club is 6 miles away.

    Road Directions

    From Inverness, follow A96 for 14 miles to Nairn. Turn left onto Crescent Road just before mini roundabout. Hotel is 50 yards along on the right.

    From Aberdeen, take A96 to Nairn. Straight ahead at mini roundabout onto Marine Road - hotel is 50 yards on left opposite Victorian Bandstand.

    From the nearest information centre:- Exit Nairn Community Centre and turn left. Just before mini roundabout turn left into Crescent Road. Hotel 50 yards along on the right.

    Getting there by railway:- Alight at Nairn Train Station. 3 minutes by car heading east on A96, turn left at Crescent Road.

    Getting there by aeroplane:- From Inverness Airport - 10 miles on A96
