Situated near the romantic village of Gretna Green, this friendly family-run park offers a warm Scottish welcome, well maintained grounds and good facilities.
Open all year, our park has hard standing or grass pitches with electric hook-ups . We have a small amount of Service Pitches with water, grey waste and electric hook-up on the pitch. Our facilities include a laundry and spotlessly clean and well-appointed toilets and showers. We have one disabled toilet. The friendly owners John and Isabel have many years of caravanning experience and they or their staff are always on hand to help you plan your day so you can make the most of your time in this beautiful corner of Scotland.
Braids Caravan Park it is only a short walk to the shops. We are approximately one and a half miles from the World Famous Blacksmiths Shop, the ancient building that made Gretna Green famous for runaway couples eloping. We are within easty reach of Annan and Dumfries. Alternatively, if you enjoy fishing, the rivers Esk and Annan are close and there are a whole host of other outdoor activities available nearby. If you fancy a day exploring, head west to the lovely Galloway coast and the historic town of Dumfries and discover its links to Scotland's National Bard, Robert Burns. Gretna and surrounding area are steeped in history and well worth a visit.
