Brawliemuir Holiday Cottages

Brawliemuir Holiday Cottages are situated in a quiet rural setting yet only three miles from the sea.



Dairy Cottage is a stone built cottage, former dairy recently refurbished to a high standard with a modern country interior. This cottage has its own sheltered courtyard with a decked seating area. The bedrooms comprise of one double and one twin room. The kitchen is spacious and well equipped with its own table. The lounge is light and airy with a feature stone wall with arched window and french doors leading out onto the courtyard. Being all on one level the cottage is suitable for guests with limited mobility. The bathroom includes a shower over the bath with handrail.

Stable Cottage is a stone built cottage on two levels, with a modern country interior finished to a high standard. On the upper level there are two bedrooms, one double and one twin and a bathroom with shower over the bath. Downstairs there is a spacious lounge, kitchen diner with french doors leading out to a garden with decked area, a single bedroom with WC.

Johnshaven is a fishing village about 3 miles away by car. There is a shop with post office and 2 pubs by the harbour. The larger village of Inverbervie has more shops including chemist, supermarket, bakery etc and is home to the famous 'Bervie Chipper'

This is a great base for exploring the Angus glens, the Mearns country side, the castle trail including Glamis castle, the childhood home of Queen Elizabeth the Queen mother and the dramatic cliff top Dunnottar castle by Stonehaven. The spectacular beach and nature reserve at St Cyrus are close by.

The granite city of Aberdeen is 30 miles north whilst Dundee, home to Scotts arctic ship 'Discovery' lies 40 miles to the south.

Golfing, fly fishing, sea fishing, walking, hill walking, horse riding are all within easy reach.

Your time at Brawliemuir Holiday Cottages can be quiet and restful or full of activity. The choice is yours!
