Your comfort is key and each of the well-furnished lodges, cottages and caravans are maintained and equipped to the very highest of standards. Each of the lodges has a spacious open plan lounge/kitchen and most are situated in a secluded area next to the park's 18-hole golf course. Alternatively, the parks deluxe, thistle or budget caravans also guarantee a comfortable stay.

    Nearby, the park also has two beautiful self-catering cottages available on a nearby farm at Brighouse Bay. Both guarantee a comfortable stay. Old Mill cottage features the original large mill wheel in the sun room and Dunrod Lodge House enjoys fantastic views over the bay.

    The park is an outdoor playground, with an extensive network of coastal and wooded walking and cycling trails, a challenging 18-hole golf course which offers glorious views across the Irish Sea, an indoor swimming pool, a jacuzzi and steam room as well as boating on the pond for the little ones and quad biking for the thrill seekers. Nearby, there is also a pony trekking centre which caters for riders of all abilities.     From the nearest information centre:- From Kirkcudbright Tourist Information Centre take the A755, signposted Gatehouse of Fleet, west for 1/2 mile. Turn left onto the B727 signposted Borgue. After 4 miles turn left at Brighouse Bay signpost. Park is in 2 miles, behind wood on right of Brighouse Bay.

    Getting there by railway:- From Dumfries Railway Station take the A75 Euroroute towards Stranraer. Approximately 22 miles from Dumfries, 4 miles west of Castle Douglas, take the A711 to Kirkcudbright. In the centre of Kirkcdbright turn left onto the A755, signposted Gatehouse of Fleet, 1/2 mile. Turn left onto B727 signpost. Park is in 2 miles, behind wood on right of Brighouse Bay.

    Getting there by aeroplane:- From Prestwick Airport take the A77 to Ayr then onto the A713 through Dalmellington, New Galloway and Parton towards the A75 at Castle Douglas (approximately 45 miles from Ayr). Turn right onto the A75 towards Stranraer for approximately 5 miles; take the A711, signposted Kirkcudbright. In the centre of Kirkcudbright turn left onto the A755, signposted Gatehouse of Fleet, for 1/2 mile. Turn left onto B727 signposted Borgue. After four miles turn left at Brighouse Bay signpost.

    Getting there by ferry:- From Cairnryan take the A77 and then the A75 towards Dumfries. Approximately 45 miles on, on the Gatehouse of Fleet Bypass, take the A755 towards Kirkcudbright. After approximately 4 miles Brighouse Bay Holiday Park is signposted to the right. The signs will take you all the way to the park.
