Overview

Welcome to Broadmeadows House, 3 spacious, comfortable and well equipped no smoking apartments forming part of an elegant Georgian mansion, situated in the unspoilt countryside of The Yarrow Valley, 4 miles from The Royal Burgh of Selkirk and an hour by car from Edinburgh. The surrounding area, famous for its panoramic views and close links to Sir Walter Scott, The Ettrick Shepherd and Wordsworth, is a haven for hill walking and mountain biking - The Southern Upland Way, Traquair Red Bull course and Glentress Forest all lie within a few miles.

Excellent trout and salmon fishing are available locally on the rivers Yarrow and Ettrick, both major tributaries of The Tweed, as well as on the quiet, deep waters of St Mary's Loch.

The newly opened Tweed Trails and Buccleuch Country Ride provide challenging hacking routes for horse riding - livery can be arranged nearby at the highly acclaimed Bowhill Stables.

With over 20 golf courses only a short drive away and historic houses and abbeys aplenty we truly believe we have "The Best of Scotland" on our doorstep.
