Bunkum is a small family run hostel set in a 150-year-old Victorian town house in Glasgow's vibrant West End. It offers clean, comfortable, budget accommodation to tourists and backpackers .Bunkum sits midway between Glasgow University and the city Botanic Gardens. The Charles Rennie Mackintosh Museum is in the same street and the Hunterian and Kelvingrove museums and galleries are all within a few minutes walking distance. The delights of Byres Road and Ashton Lane, where you can find many of the best pubs and restaurants in Glasgow are also close by.
The proximity of Glasgow University gives the area a cosmopolitan feel; its student population guarantees a tremendous variety of value food stops.
