Bunree is a purpose built chalet Bungalow, set in the rural countryside. A 5 minute drive from the centre of the ancient capital Dunfermline. Una and Hamish take pride in offering Scottish hospitality, ensuring a comfortable and memorable experience.
The superior en suite accommodation here comprises of Errigal our ground floor twin / king size double room with w.c. bath and overhead shower facilities, and Slemish our first floor twin / king size double room with w.c. and double shower cabinet. Each complete with heated towel rail and complimentary soaps shampoos and accessories. Our rooms also provide a hospitality tray with tea coffee and biscuits, mini fridge, trouser press, flat screen T.V. with freeview, hair dryer, bathrobes, radio alarm, ironing facilities, computer desk and free WI FI. All rooms are tastefully decorated and furnished to the highest standards to ensure your comfort during your stay at Bunree.
There is a welcome pack in the room with information on all local attractions and places of interest, a list of various restaurants and brasseries, providing tasty good value fare, well tried and tested! We also operate an E class Mercedes Benz saloon and an 8 seat V.W. Club Class, Ideal for golfing excursions to St Andrews, Gleneagles and Muirfield golf courses all within an hour, whisky, historical, and bespoke sightseeing tours. Transfers from Edinburgh, Glasgow, Prestwick, and Newcastle Airports can also be arranged. For those visitors arriving in Edinburgh Airport we are perfectly situated for your first and last nights stay in Scotland as we are a short 30 minute drive from the Airport. Bunree is situated on a bus route and is ideal for touring Fifes other famous towns, St Andrews and the East Neuk fishing villages. Edinburgh, Glasgow, Perth and Stirling are all within a 45 minute drive.
Breakfast is served between 7.30. and 8.45.and till 9.00.on Sundays. A full Bunree grill using the best local produce Sausage, Bacon, Tomato, Mushroom and Tattie Scone with Free Range Eggs cooked as you like them, Hot smoked West Coast salmon, Arbroath kipper fillets, or the famous Poachers Pouch will set you up for the day or perhaps the lighter continental choices cheese, yoghurt, fresh fruit, honey and croissants. Early breakfasts can be served in your room.
