This 1904 guest house has been sympathetically refurbished and now reflects the standards expected by today's visitor whilst retaining Edwardian features. All bedrooms have ensuite facilities, colour televisions, radio alarms, and hospitality trays.
There is a comfortable Residents' Lounge and Bar which overlooks the bay and a pleasant patio where you can sit, enjoy a drink and watch a sedate procession of swans as they glide across the bay. You will marvel at the gannets plunging into the waves as they spy a tasty morsel. Of the many vessels that you will see from the Burlington, "Waverley", Britain's last sea-going paddle-steamer provides a nostalgic glimpse of a byegone age, as she proceeds magestically down the Clyde.
Why not enjoy an aperitif before adjourning to a local restaurant for dinner, or a liqueur to round off the evening on the Burlington patio or in our residents' lounge?
Burlington is the ideal location on this magical island, whether you are here for a activity holiday or a restful break.
We welcome dogs at the Burlington, but please DO PHONE US TO CHECK AVAILABILITY There is an additional charge for dogs.
