Overview
Providing quality accommodation for six adults, Burnbrae Mill is split into two levels with stylish decorated rooms which have been furnished with your absolute comfort in mind. The spacious lounge has huge French doors which overlook Criffel hill, together with a beautiful cosy log-burning stove and entertainment centre. The modern kitchen has all the necessities you need for a stress-free break and the open plan dining area means everyone can cook and eat together. Each of the bedrooms has comfortable beds which are covered in Egyptian cotton bedding, and the third bedroom is fitted with adult size bunk beds. The modern bathrooms have either a shower over the bath, or a large walk-in power shower. Outside, the mill has its own beautiful private gardens and the burn at the bottom offers the perfect haven of relaxation, or sit out on the patio area with seating for six and a gas barbecue.This really is the ultimate country retreat and special care has been taken to ensure that you have a fabulous stay. On arrival you will find a complimentary tray of tea, coffee and biscuits and a welcome pack which highlights all the top things there are to do in the area.
The mill is approximately 2.5 miles from the villages of Lochfoot, Crocketford and Haugh of Urr and 8 miles from Dumfries, Castle Douglas, and Dalbeattie and only a 20 minute drive from the Solway coast and its beautiful beaches.
