Overview
The kitchen is well-equipped and the house is heated by night storage heaters, an open fire in the sitting room and electric heaters in the bedrooms. The bathroom, which also has a shower, has been completely renovated.'Burnside' was for a few years the home of the current owner's mother and retains the character of a family home. Children and pets are always welcome. The house is three miles from the ferry terminal at Craignure and has minimal noise from passing traffic. There is a restaurant, The Old Mill, in Lochdon.
Why not use 'Burnside' as a base from which to sample the many attractions Mull has to offer? Excellent walking country, opportunities to watch birds and wildlife, Duart and Torosay Castles, trips to Iona and other islands, various local crafts and the Isle of Mull theatre, to name but a few. It's all on your doorstep!
'Burnside' is open throughout the year, for bookings usually of one week or two, although shorter periods may be possible. Prices range from £210-500 per week - this includes the provision of linen and towels, and there is no charge for electricity or coal for the fire.
