The property was originally built in the 19th century as a coach house and stables for the local landowner and still retains a personal and homely feel. With fabulous views overlooking Kilnaughton Bay and its lighthouse, the house is just a five minute walk from a sandy beach. The house sleeps up to 11 people with the following sleeping arrangements; Two twin rooms (4). One double room with daybed (3). One double room with sofa bed (2). Sun-room/conservatory with two daybeds (2). The house is spacious, comfortable with traditionally furnishing wIth enclosed garedens to the front and rear of the property. South facing, Carin Cottage has a fantastic view over the bay. Situated only a 5 minute drive/10 minute walk from Port Ellen and just 10 minutes from Islay Airport, the house is perfectly positioned to explore the island and its wildlife, distilleries, beautiful beaches, golf course and scenary.
