From the nearest information centre:- From Ardgaten Tourist Information Centre, west on A83 over rest and be thankful, 0.5 miles past Dunoon turn off to Cairndow village. Inn in middle of village, 0.5 miles down single track road.Getting there by railway:- From Arrochar Station, A83 across rest and be thankful to Cairndow village. Just past Dunoon turn off, taxi can be arranged.
Getting there by aeroplane:- From Glasgow Airport, west on M8 motorway via the Erskine Bridge. A82 north up to Loch Lomond - side to Tarbert. Then A83 west through Arrochar over rest and be thankful to Cairndow. Just past Dunoon turn-off.
Getting there by ferry:- From Dunoon terminals, A815 up Loch Eck to Strachur then along east shore of Loch Fyne to A83 junction. Turn left 0.5 miles to Cairndow village. Inn in middle of village, 0.5 miles down single track road.
