Overview

Situated approximately 5 miles from Aboyne in Deeside, Scotland, it sits above the owners' property in open country.
The apartment is accessed by an external staircase and a special feature of the peoperty is the private decking area with panoramic views over the surrounding countryside and DeeValley. The decking is furnished with garden table and chairs and is private and not overlooked.

Nearest shop, post office and village is one mile away. Take a walk or a jog along the single track road which meanders through a tiny hamlet and passes Macbeth's Well. Stories say that Macbeth made his last stand here in 1057. Within walking distance is ancient Peel Ring (12th century "motte").

25 miles from Aberdeen, 10 miles from Banchory, the area offers a wealth of activity and sightseeing including the Whisky Trails, The Royal Castle of Balmoral where the Queen and family holiday during August and September, the National Trust castles of Crathes, Craigievar and Fraser. There is mountain climbing, hill walking, picknicking in the glens, or in winter try the ski-ing at the slopes of the Lecht or Glenshee. There are also many Golf courses in the area.

During the Summer months, you will find Highland Games taking place and many local festivals in the area.

The main door to the apartment opens onto a hallway with a further door to the left opening into the Lounge and adjoining Kitchen. The Lounge is light and bright with windows on two sides giving stunning views. Lounge has a television, DVD player and Hi-Fi unit. Kitchen is fully equipped with oven and grill, microwave, fridge and separate freezer, washing machine, electric kettle and toaster.

Two bedrooms are located along the hallway. There is a double bed in one room and two single beds in the other. Each bedroom has fitted wardrobes and chest of drawers. Bathroom with shower and bath is situated at the end of the hallway.

Bed linen and towels are provided as well as all electricity.

There is Total Control central heating.
