  • Eating Out Facilities within 2 miles - The Port Charlotte hotel welcomes both visitors and guests. Facilities include a formal dining room, less formal restaurant and a friendly bar which all serve food. The Lochindaal hotel is immediately accross Main Street and serves traditional pub food.
  • Shop within 2 Miles / Mobile Shop - Village shop is 200 yards from the house, and stocks groceries, milk, fresh fruit as well as newspapers and magazines. Limited selection of DVD's and children's toys. Shop also serves as the village Post Office and has a petrol station attached.

  • Children Welcome - Cala Sith is a family holiday home that caters to children of all ages.
  • Cot Available - Travel cot can be provided with prior notification at time of booking.
  • Indoor Play Area - Children's games and toys are kept in a wicker trunk next to the bookcase in the dining area.
  • Outdoor Play Area - The walled in patio outside the back door is an ideal safe area for small children to play with their toys outside. The Port Mor centre located at the end of the village has a fully equipped childrens playground a short walk from the house

  • Pets Welcome By Arrangement - Well behaved dogs are welcome by prior arrangement. Please let us know when you are booking. Islay has many working farms and great care must be taken with dogs, especially during lambing season. Remember to bring a leash and use it when necessary.
