From the nearest information centre:- Pick up keys & information from check-in point at Abbey Hotel. From tourist information centre on Princes Street, turn right heading eastwards. At traffic lights turn left onto Leith Street. At large roundabout (Picardy Place) you will see Omni Centre (glass fronted building) & Playhouse Theatre. Follow sign for Leith (A1) & Berwick upon Tweed, follow this route (Playhouse Theatre will be on right hand side). You will come to a smaller roundabout. Go along London Road, at crossroads traffic lights, turn right, turn sharp right again up Carlton Terrace Brae, this will lead up to Royal Terrace. Proceed along Royal Terrace, Abbey Hotel on left hand side at 9 Royal Terrace (Tel: 0131 556 3221). You will be provided with keys, instructions, wi-fi code, directions to apartments nearby.

Getting there by railway:- From Waverley station we are a 10 minute walk or a 5 minute taxi/car ride away. By foot exit the station onto Princes Street, turn right and eastwards and at the traffic lights turn left onto Leith Street. Getting there by aeroplane:- From Edinburgh International Airport head east following signs for the city centre. At the west end of Princes Street follow the 1 way system onto Queen Street. Continue onto York Place then onto the roundabout at the top of Leith Walk. Turn left passing the Playhouse Theatre on the right.
