The family welcome you to enjoy the comfort and spaciousness of their home, absorb the beauty of the gardens and woodland walks and unwind in the informal, restful atmosphere that makes Cambo so special.
Cambo House, an impressive Victorian country house, built in 1881, lies at the heart of a 1200 acre country estate and a stone's throw from the sea.
The perfect place to relax and unwind!
Whether you seek a peaceful retreat or an active break, Cambo has so much to offer that you can create the perfect holiday without leaving the estate. Cambo House offers living in grand style, but with modern day comforts. The accommodation in the house has been transformed over the years to its present comfortable state, with many of its original features retained as reminders of the past. Planning your holiday at Cambo
Cambo is an ideal base for golf, family holidays, walking or relaxing. The estate has renowned walled gardens, woodland walks, the acclaimed Kingsbarns Golf Links, spacious lawns, trampoline and swings, a tennis court and is only 5 minutes walk from the seaside.
The Blue and Yellow Room are on the first floor of the main part of the house, off the magnificent staircase and landing and The Clock Tower is situated in The Gardeners Wing, upstairs from The Garden and The Orchard.
The Yellow Room, overlooking the parkland, has a delightful four poster bed with elegant period furniture. The unique feature of this room is the roll top bath situated within the room itself.
The Blue Room with its lovely four poster bed, magnificent furnishings and large luxurious private bathroom (bath and shower) looks over the lawn and woodland at the back corner of the house and enjoys the morning sun as it faces east. Bath robes are provided.
The Clock Tower, as the name suggests, is situated in the clock tower and comprises a comfortable bedroom with stunning Victorian tester bed with upholstered headboard and a splendid, luxurious, private bathroom.
A sitting room with open fire and tv overlooks the fountain and private garden and is available for guests' use. Each room also has its own tv.
Breakfast is taken in the dining room on the first floor.
A private dinner can also be specially prepared for you if booked in advance (subject to availability).
The magnificent public rooms on the first floor may be hired for exclusive use for a wedding, function or party.
