There is one king size bedroom and the other two can either be twin or superkingsize. The ground floor has natural wood flooring and there is a large, kitchen, living and dining room with patio doors to a decked area and enclosed garden.
We also now have two other cottages Menteith and Blane. These are two lovely two bedroomed cottages which form part of our farm courtyard. Each cottage has a king size and twin bedroom with their own ensuite bathrooms. The ground floor is open plan with lounge, dining and kitchen areas. There is full central heating, fridge with freezer compartment and dishwasher. Each cottage has its own patio area in the courtyard.
We are close to Loch Lomond National Park, The West Highland Way, Queen Elizabeth Forest and many other tourist attractions.
The owners are also alpaca breeders and they have a growing herd of about 40. Alpacas are bred for their fine fleece which can be superior to cashmere and guests are welcome to join in with alpaca activities during their stay.
Ballochruin Barn
We have created a lovely three bedroomed house with large kitchen, living and dining area. All bedrooms have ensuite facilities, one with a walk-in shower and the other two with bath and integral shower. The water is under mains pressure so the showers have some force! The ground floor has natural wood flooring combined with underfloor heating which extends to the upstairs bathrooms.
The kitchen, lounge and dining area is fitted to a very high standard with Neff ceramic hob, electric oven and dishwasher. There is also a microwave and larder fridge with a fridge with a freezer compartment. The Barn has a separate laundry room with a washer dryer. The lounge has extremely comfortable leather sofas and looks onto a decked area which is west facing for the afternoon/ evening sun. There is a television and DVD player with cinema surround sound. The Barn has its own enclosed outside space with tasteful planters and garden furniture. We can supply a BBQ for alfresco dining.
