Overview
Cannee Court's impressive cottages have been sympathetically modernised to accommodate two to four people. Carefully furnished, each provides quality self-catering holiday accommodation high above the estuary of the River Dee. Sleeping two guests, the 18th-century Cider Tower offers luxurious romantic solitude and is interestingly built over three levels in a circular structure in-keeping with its old mill past. Unwind in four-poster opulence, enjoy panoramic views from the elegant lounge or just relax on the sun patio with a glass of wine. As its name suggests, the second cottage, Dairy House, once formed part of the outbuildings of a dairy farm. It enjoys a comfortable open plan living and dining area, spacious kitchen and two luxury bedrooms sleeping up to four guests. The Byre also sleeps four and is suitable for wheelchair users with most aspects of the accommodation on the striking ground floor.Due to its coastal location, the cottages are ideal for cliff-top walks, exploring sandy beaches and trying out a range of water sports. Around half an hour's drive will take you high up into the magnificent Southern Uplands where you can enjoy gentle walking and cycling or you can explore the picturesque town of Kirkcudbright, a few minutes' walk from your holiday home.
