The Dunes Kitchen

Located on Dornoch Caravan Park, a short walk to Dornoch beach,Dornoch town centre and Royal Dornoch Golf Club.
High Quality Self catering accommodation.

Our modern, comfortable caravans are situated on Dornoch Caravan & Camping Park, a family friendly site, just a few minutes walk through the sand dunes to Dornoch beach where literally a mile of clean golden sand stretches out along the coast.  Dornoch sands is a shallow and safe beach and large enough to accommodate crowds of visitors while still leaving plenty of open space for relaxing and playing.  Rock-pooling, paddling, swimming, sunbathing or even strolling along the beautiful coastline - truly this beautiful sandy beach is lost in time and has literally not changed in hundreds of years.

Bordering this mile of sand are soft, rush clad sand dunes. And it is nestled within these sand dunes that the Dornoch Caravan and Camp Park is located. A tiny village in fact, dotted with holiday caravans, connected together with winding footpaths and tarred roads.  The site itself provides all of the modern facilities you would expect in a holiday camp, all in a well maintained and managed park.

Dornoch Golf CourseFor those passionate about golf the Royal Dornoch Golf Course is just a stone's throw away.  The Royal Dornoch is a world renowned eighteen hole course, capable of challenging even the most skilled and capable golfer.  With two courses to choose from Royal Dornoch is ideal for both the keen learner or those who enjoy more of a challenge.

The town of Dornoch is easily accessible - a short stroll along the lazy streets streets to the town centre.  Shopping is varied offering a range of tourist attractions, shops, bars and restaurants, all set out surrounding the Dornoch Cathedral and Dornoch Castle in a truly historic setting. Dornoch is a well maintained, clean, leafy town offering a wealth of history and soft traditional scenery - a family-friendly town coveted by many of the neighbouring towns, such as Tain and Golspie.

Dornoch CathedralStroll around our beautiful 12th century cathedral and learn about how St Gilbert killed the dragon at the Historylinks Museum, or simply enjoy the ambiance and  relax with a coffee (or something stronger!) in one of the cafes, all before returning back to your caravan to put your feet up for the evening.

Without doubt Dornoch offers the promise of one of the best caravan holiday in the Highlands of Scotland that keeps visitors coming back, year after year.

Enjoy...
