The Caravel Guest House is the ideal location for your stay in Edinburgh. The Caravel is set in the beautiful architectural area of Edinburgh's classical New Town, this charming Georgian house is situated in the very heart of Edinburgh, Scotland's capital city. Bus and transit available within convenient walking distance. Waverley Train Station and Prince's Street is within 500 yards. The Caravel House is an ideal accommodation from which to explore the city. The main attractions are within walking distance.

The Caravel House is home to 11 elegant well-appointed bedrooms, including a mixture of single, double, twin and family rooms all en suite. Guests can check in on the day of arrival after 2.30 pm. If arriving earlier you can drop off your luggage at any time. The checkout time is 11 am on the departure date.

All of our elegantly furnished bedrooms have newly refurbished private facilities, together with television, trouser press, tea/coffee facilities and hairdryers. We also have en-suite family rooms which include cots and high chairs on request.

Relax in the evening in the grandeur of the lounge in a peaceful ambience. WiFi internet connection is available free upon request for those guests that wish to stay connected during their stay.

The Caravel House kitchen offers guests a choice of a Continental and full breakfast, prepared with fresh ingredients and premiere quality products. Our Continental Breakfast self service buffet consists of a wide variety of cereals to choose from, also fresh fruit, fruit juices and yoghurts as well as brown or white toast and your choice of tea or coffee. Our Full cooked breakfast consists of free range eggs cooked to your liking, fried tomato, fried button mushrooms, beef sausage and baked beans.

Directions - From Centre
From Edinburgh city centre, walk to the east end of Princes Street and left down Leith Street. Turn left immediately after John Lewis department store and continue down Broughton Street. At the bottom of Broughton Street, turn left at the roundabout into London Street - approximately a 10 minute walk or short taxi ride. Alternatively, take LRT bus number 8 from outside Princes Mall to London Street.

Getting there by aeroplane:- From Edinburgh Airport, take the airport shuttle bus to the junction of Princes Street and Frederick Street. Then the LRT bus number 13 from Frederick Street to London Street.
