Carberry Tower sits majestically in 35 acres of manicured lawns and landscaped grounds; an oasis of calm and tranquillity that provides the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of modern life.
Carberry Tower is an arresting 15th century tower fifteen minutes from Edinburgh and ten minutes. The Royal Castle, with its turrets and a four storey tower, was once the home of Lady Elphinstone, who was the sister of the late Queen Mother, but on the Lady’s death in the 1960s it was gifted to the Church of Scotland. In 2010 Carberry Tower became part of the AmaZing Venues collection and was transformed into a high end hotel and luxury venue.
Set in 35 acres of landscaped gardens and parkland the Tower is ideal for conferences and events and perfect for a beautiful Scottish wedding as the estate has a chapel, which can seat 150 people, and a manicured rose garden, which makes a beautiful setting for photographs. The turrets certainly add a magical touch and the 30 guestrooms have kept much of the historic features with many of them adorned with ornate carvings and period fireplaces, stained glass windows and wood panelling.
