Carnaburg Guest House

Carnaburg Guest House is one of the original coloured houses built in the eighteenth century on Tobermory's picturesque Main Street, overlooking the scenic natural harbour, Sound of Mull and Morven Hills beyond.

Originally built for the fishing community the house was later purchased by the MacLean family who opened it as a hotel. The building has since been extended to provide a spacious reception lounge, dining room and nine bedrooms.

A haven of comfort, good food and welcoming service, we offer a relaxed, 'homely' atmosphere, value for money and memorable stay to our guests.

Choose from comfortably furnished triple, double twin and single rooms, with en-suite facilities or shared bathroom/showers, at prices to suit your budget and special break packages offered during low season. All rooms have wash basins, televisions and hospitality tray. Most have gorgeous views over the bay. Our largest en-suite room has a 'superking' sized bed, (converts to a twin) and a further single bed. This is perfect for a romantic break or family holiday.

Walkers, Cyclists and Bikers are especially welcome. We are pleased to provide secure storage for cycles and drying/laundry facilities for wet clothes.

Mull is easily accessible with magnificent scenery, an abundance of wildlife and interesting places to visit. Climb Ben Mor, play golf, visit Iona, join a whale watching or wildlife trip, explore'Balamory', castles, forests and beautiful sandy beaches.

Carnaburg offers a choice of comfortable accommodation to suit your requirements and budget. All rooms are individually furnished with twin or double beds, hospitality tray, television, and bathroom facilities either en-suite or located nearby. Most rooms have lovely views of Tobermory Bay and the Morven Hills beyond.
A discount of £10 on room rate, per night is offered for single occupancy during high season and 50% during low season

A discount of 10% is offered on 4 or more nights dinner, bed and breakfast

Children 0 to 10 years
*Children under 10 sharing our 'Family Room' with 1 or 2 adults are charged an additional £10 per child, per night.

Dogs
We are extremely happy to accept dogs by prior arrangement. We do ask however, that you do not leave the dog in the room by itself. Any damage caused will be charged for. There is a charge of £5.00 per dog per day


Smoking Policy
We are a 'no smoking' premises and operate a 'no smoking' policy throughout the building in line with Scottish legislation.
