Carronvale House

Carronvale House is home to The Boys' Brigade Scottish Headquarters and is used not only as a Training, Conference and Activity Centre for The Boys' Brigade but also by churches, charities, hospices, schools, health & local authorities other youth organisations and private groups.
The beautiful grade A listed mansion house which retains many of the original features is ideally situated in the central belt of Scotland with good motorway and rail links to Glasgow (23 miles), Edinburgh (22 miles) and Stirling (9.5 miles).
Carronvale is an excellent venue for groups on a budget looking for value for money facilities and service. We have a range of packages available from Bed & Breakfast to Full Board and we are happy to create a package suitable to the needs of the group.
Conferences, Retreats, Training, Special Occasions, Picnics, Sports days, Meetings, Fellowship, Contests, Festivals, Interviews, Displays, Gatherings, Activity Breaks, All-age Holidays and much more - Carronvale is the perfect venue in the perfect location.
Carronvale House has sixty beds in 21 bedrooms as follows: 10 twin rooms, of which 6 are ensuite, 4 triples ensuite and 7 quadruples ensuite. Five of these bedrooms are large enough to also accommodate a z bed, increasing potential residential numbers to 65 if required. The remaining four twin rooms share two shower rooms.
One of the triple rooms is equipped for use by disabled guests and there is a lift for disabled access to the first floor
Bed Linen is provided but towels are not. Residential prices also include 4-6 hours use of the Recreation Centre, subject to availability and 1-2 function rooms depending on group size.

We have seven function rooms varying in size from seating 6 - 70 and the wood panelled diningroom seats 65.

Function rooms are equipped with TV/Video/DVD, Wireless Internet Connection, Screens, Flip charts and OHPs. PowerPoint Projectors are available on request.

The sports hall and adjacent all-weather-surface provide Carronvale with a prime sporting facility, each area has various equipment suitable for football, hockey, tennis badminton and much more, full details of which are available on our website

An 18-hole putting green is located at the front of the house, with putters, balls and markers provided

The mature grounds offer a beautiful and peaceful area to relax in. There is also a small nature trail and small BBQ and picnic area available at the rear of the house.

Local attractions include Callender House, The Falkirk Wheel, Dunmore Pineapple, Birkhill Clay Mine and Blackness Castle. Within the easy distance of Glasgow, Edinburgh and Stirling are all the obvious attractions such as Wallace's Monument, Edinburgh Castle and Kelvingrove Art gallery & Museum.

Unless you already have access to transport, there are two bus stops 10 minutes walk from Carronvale going to Falkirk with connections to Edinburgh, Glasgow and Stirling. Larbert Railway Station offers a regular service to Edinburgh, Glasgow, Stirling and Falkirk.
