Situated in beautiful Royal Deeside, Castlehill; is a five bedroom house that has recently been refurbished to a high standard. It is situated two miles outside Ballater with superb views of Lochnagar and surrounding countryside.
Castlehill is rentable on a weekly basis (Saturday to Saturday) from beginning of April to the end of October.
Dogs are welcome downstairs and there is a large enclosed garden. All bed linen and towels are provided.
Castlehill consists of five bedrooms; 2 kings (1 ensuite), 1 double ensuite and two twins. There are two lounges, one upstairs with magnificent views, a kitchen, dining room, large family bathroom with bath and a cloakroom with WC. There is a large maintained enclosed garden off the road but which has an access road for the house up the hill. The garden has a patio area ideal for bar-b-ques.
Locally there is golf, hiking, walking, ponytrekking, mountain biking and at the bottom of the drive is a fishing pond. If history is more your thing you are ideally placed for Balmoral, Crathes, Drum and Braemar Castles.
The local amenities in Ballater are only two miles away by car but an old railway line at the bottom of the drive means that you can walk in safety to Ballater village centre in about half an hour. There are various hotels and restaurants and a myriad of shopping.
