Castleview Guest House

Overview

This is the house where Kenneth Grahame (1859-1932), author of "The Wind in the Willows", was born! Castle View is a spacious Georgian penthouse apartment on the 3rd and 4th floors of an Edinburgh townhouse
We are a haven above the bustle of the city with lovely views from the front of the apartment to Edinburgh Castle on the right and the Firth of Forth to the left. We are located in the heart of Edinburgh, right next to the world famous Princes Street, so you are ideally placed to take advantage of the many attractions Edinburgh has to offer.
Waverley station, St Andrews Square bus station and the International Conference Centre are all less than 10 minutes walk away The airport is 20 minutes drive away at the west of the city.
We have converted the upper floors of the building and all the rooms have been recently refurbished and offer the best in comfort for our guests. Our aim is to offer the highest standard of service and amenities to delight our customers and encourage their return.
