You can stay on a real working croft between loch and sea in Tolsta Chaolais, the most beautiful village in the Isle of Lewis.
Once here you will have views across Loch Roag to the island of Great Bernera,to the mountains of Harris and the hills of Uig and Lochs. A short walk will take you to the shorewhere there are tidal lagoons, rocky and sandy beaches and coastal wildlife (if you are lucky you will see some of our otters).
At the other end of the croft you will find the village loch, Loch a Bhaille, with its own islands and wildlife and a chance to fish for fat brown trout.
Bed and Breakfast/Self Catering.
Our idea for Ceann Bodaich is to give you the best of both. You have a self contained flat with your own front door.
The flat includes:
sitting room with a peat burning stove,
double bedroom,
shower room,
fully equipped kitchen.
So you can come and go as you like, go out for meals or eat in as you choose.
If you choose you can also have your breakfast made for you. A breakfast which we try to ensure is one of the best you well ever have been given.
Booking is by the night: so you are not tied to the traditional self catering regime of booking by the week and changing over on Saturdays.
For sailors we have moorings available in the village.
£60 Per Night Accommodation only. For stays of 3 or more nights £50 per night Accommodation only.
Breakfast £10 per person
