Overview

CEANNLOCH

Ceannloch is situated within the village of Bonar Bridge with views overlooking the Kyle of Sutherland and the hills of Easter Ross and is an ideal centre for touring the northern highlands.

For the golfing enthusiast it is the perfect destination with several courses within easy reach ranging from a modest 9 hole to champion standard. As for fishing, the county of Sutherland has been described as an angler's paradise with lochs, rivers and estuaries providing good quality salmon and sea trout fishing for the discerning angler and for the less energetic there is many places of interest to visit such as Dunrobin Castle, Royal Dornoch with its historic town and beautiful cathedral, whisky distilleries at Brora and Tain, heritage centres at Tain, Helmsdale and Evanton or watch the salmon leap the Falls of Shin.

The accommodation, with private garden to the rear, consists of entrance hall, sitting room with open fire and large kitchen/dining room on the ground floor. A stair from the hall leads to the first floor where there is two double bedrooms, (one with additional single bed) and bathroom.

The sitting room has an open fire, colour TV and DVD player, radio, a three-seater settee, two arm chairs and other occasional tables etc.

The kitchen/dining has been modernised and is well equipped with oil fired rayburn, double electric oven, micro wave, four ring electric hob, automatic washing machine, fridge and a good supply of crockery and utensils. The dining area has a pine table and chairs.

The bedrooms are upstairs and comprise of one double room with fitted wardrobes, the second with a double bed and a single bed has a free standing pine bedroom suite.

The shower room/WC has also been modernised. There is an electric shower, built in WC and wash hand basin with make-up mirror and heated towel rail.

Comfortable furnished throughout with night storage heaters in the bedrooms and sitting room and a selection of books and children's games providing a homely setting for a perfect family holiday.

The rates quoted are inclusive of all heating, electricity, duvets, blankets and pillows but exclusive of all linen, towels and fuel for the open fire, which may be bought locally.
