Chapel Outon Farmhouse B&B

Nestled in rolling countryside on the outskirts of the Royal Burgh of Whithorn, this recently refurbished farmhouse guarantees a comfortable stay.

The spacious yet cosy accommodation offers three beautifully decorated bedrooms with comfortable king-size, twin (twin bedroom) or bunk beds (family room) plus an en suite shower room or private facilities. A tray of delicious home baking will be waiting for you on arrival.   The added home comforts of tea and coffee facilities and complimentary basket of fruit await in your room.   Egyptian cotton towels, gorgeous smelling toiletries, hairdryer, tissues, thick duvets and luxury cotton sheets with spare blankets if needed, will make your stay a perfect one.

Canine visitors are welcome and they will feel spoilt with complimentary dog treats and use of their very own fluffy rug and water bowl for the duration of their stay.

A wholesome home-cooked breakfast is served in the dining room using delicious home grown vegetables and locally sourced organic produce. Choose from lots of fantastic options such as a selection of quality cereals, fruit and juices, and a cooked Scottish breakfast with all the trimmings or, if you prefer, enjoy one of the tasty lighter options such as poached eggs on toast. An early breakfast, packed lunches and homemade evening meals are also available. In the evening, the homely sitting room with Sky TV and a roaring log fire, which is lit in the cooler months, provides the perfect place to relax.

Offering sweeping views and glorious sunsets, Chapel Outon is surrounded by quiet beaches, forests and hills, ideal for walking and cycling. If you enjoy watching for wildlife, keep an eye out for the golden eagles which often soar overhead or go on a wild goose chase at Wigtown Bay Nature Reserve.
