    Situated on the East side of Dunfermline, Scotland’s Ancient Capital, Clarke Cottage is a historic, family-owned residence offering excellent facilities in quiet, comfortable surroundings.

    Clarke Cottage dates back to 1890 and was the original residence of the Black Family who owned the surrounding Bleachfield Works.  The Guest House now has a total 6 en-suite twin bedrooms and 3 en-suite double bedrooms with a dining conservatory and residents lounge.

    Each bedroom boasts a fridge, tea/coffee making facilities, digital multi-channel television with dvd, radio alarm and hair dryer.

    There is ample off-street car parking to the front and rear of the property where a small garden area is also located.

    From the East.

    Clarke Cottage is situated on Halbeath Road (A907) and is easy found by leaving the M90 at Junction J3 and following the signs for Dunfermline. After passing Asda Superstore and two sets of traffic lights, Clarke Cottage is located on the left. (look for the sign).


    From the West

    Follow the signs for Kirkcaldy (A907) through Dunfermline Town Centre. On passing under a bridge, Clarke Cottage is located on the right. (look for the sign).

    From the nearest information centre:- Head North from the Forth Road Bridge on the M90; exit at Junction 3; follow signs for Dunfermline (A907) to Town Centre.

    Getting there by railway:- From Dunfermline Queen Margaret Railway Station, 2 minutes walk down Whitefield Road to the junction with Halbeath Road. Clarke Cottage is on your right.

    Getting there by aeroplane:- From Edinburgh Airport follow signs for Forth Road Bridge and M90, Perth. Exit at Junction 3.
