Clyde Cottage

Enjoy all the amenities of the lovely coastal town of Dunoon; appreciate the sea views from the house; 5 minutes drive away is some of Argyll's loveliest scenery - or take a day trip to Edinburgh or Glasgow to soak up some culture.

Situated on the sea front with wonderful views of the Firth of Clyde. Completely renovated in 1998. Thoughtfully and tastefully furnished. Very convenient for the town centre, with a good selection of shops and restaurants within easy walking distance.
Dunoon, the birthplace of Robert Burns' Highland Mary, has been a popular seaside holiday resort for many years, and is ideally situated for steamer cruising and touring the hills and lochs of the Cowal peninsula. Water sports, fishing and golf are all available, and the town"s swimming pool is only 250 yards away. Glasgow and Edinburgh are easily accessible by boat and train.
External stone steps lead up to the ground floor, with a lounge, dining kitchen and toilet. The kitchen is well equipped with gas cooker, fridge-freezer, washer- drier, microwave and dishwasher. There is a colour TV and both upstairs rooms have lovely views of the Firth and pier.
The original curved stone stairs lead to the lower ground floor where there are two double bedrooms, one twin bedroom with ensuite shower room and a bathroom with bath and shower above.
Full gas central heating. All gas and electricity, linen and towels are included in the rent. Travel cot and high chair available. There is a garden to front and rear, the rear garden being private, suitable for young children, and with patio and garden furniture. Well-behaved dogs are welcome. Private parking is available at the rear of the property, accessed from John Street.
