Kames Golf Club is a privately owned 250 acre complex of 2 courses, one of 18 and one of 9 holes. It is open all year round and the hotel has an arrangement with the club (approx. 15 mins drive) for guests seeking golf facilities.
The local municipal course, Biggar Golf Club, is also available by arrangement with reception.
The River Clyde is stocked with Grayling and Brown Trout. Permits can be obtained by arrangement. The river is fished from the bank opposite the Hotel.
