With some 500 km of tracks and trails by forest, hill and loch, quite literally on our doorstep this is the outdoor enthusiast's dream. The Trossachs is a mecca for both walkers and cyclists. The Rob Roy Way and the Glasgow to Inverness Cycle route (7) pass through Aberfoyle making Corrie Glen an ideal stopover or stay longer and tour this superb area which has some to the most spectacular scenery Scotland has to offer. Whatever your activity there is something for everyone in The Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park. We have loads of information on walking, cycling, fishing, horse-riding, and watersports.     Road Directions

    From: The South /Stirling & Edinburgh.
    Take Junction 10 off the M9 and follow the A84 towards Blair Drummond. After you pass the Safari Park take second turning on the left onto the A873. You will go through the villages of Thornhill and Ruskie. The road becomes the A81 Carry on into Aberfoyle.
    Once in Aberfoyle, head along Main Street and after the Co-op on your right turn left onto Manse Road and over bridge, follow road along past cemetry and then bear left at Y junction we are last house on left handside.
    From Junction 10 (M8) --- approx 18 miles or 25 mins.
    From Glasgow:

    Our advice would be to head for the Clyde Tunnel on the M8. Immediately that you come out of the tunnel you will pick up the A81 and Aberfoyle is signposted.

    From the nearest information centre:- Head along Main Street with Co-op on your right, turn left over humped back bridge, carry on past cemetery, take left at Y junction and Corrie Glen is last house on left.
