This large Victorian house in Killin Perthshire, built in 1884 for the Breadalbane Estate Factor, with its seven comfortable bedrooms, provides quality bed and breakfast accommodation and freshly cooked Scottish Breakfasts.
All rooms have Broadband internet wired connections available and WiFi. Rooms 1,2,3,5,7 and 8 have en-suite showers. The Tarmachan Suite (Room 4) has a private en-suite bathroom with bath.
Centrally placed Killin is a pretty village which makes a splendid centre for basing your holiday with lots of opportunities for days out visiting the local attractions or making the most of the fresh air and the countryside. The scenery is stunning and the walks and rides are from the gentle stroll to the strenuous! It has been said that 90% of Scotland is within 90 miles of Killin. Why go anywhere else? Craigbuie Guest House is situated on Main Street in Killin, Perthshire between the famous Falls of Dochart and Loch Tay.
We are surrounded on three sides by heather clad mountains and on the fourth side by the Loch itself which is a short walk away.
The house is in the centre of the village, opposite the Newsagents, Co-op supermarket, Outdoor Centre (for bike and canoe hire) and the McClaren Hall.
There are five restaurants/public houses within easy walking distance and during the main season a fish and chip van is just around the corner.
We try to cater for a wide range of requirements: twin rooms, double rooms, family rooms for 3 and even a family suite for 5, king size beds as well as the Tarmachan Suite with private bathroom. Our breakfasts are included in the room rate and are cooked to order with a good selection of items on offer.
Recipient of the Food Standards Agency's 'Eat Safe' award for excellence in food hygiene and food safety management
