Craigend Bed And Breakfast

Set in the beautiful Lanarkshire countryside, Craigend 4 Star GOLD Bed and Breakfast offers the perfect peaceful retreat for those wanting to enjoy a picturesque location, whilst being able to reach all Central and Southern Scotland has to offer.

What could be better after a hard days sightseeing than returning to a peaceful countryside B&B away from traffic and noise?  And why change B&B's every night when you could stay in one place and visit everywhere you need to see in Central and Southern Scotland from one place?  Craigend Bed and Breakfast provides all this and more.

Situated in tranquil Lanarkshire countryside, just a short drive from junctions 11 & 12 of the M74, Craigend B&B really is the ideal base for your Scottish holiday.  Our unique position means that within an hours drive or less you can be in Glasgow, Edinburgh, Stirling, Ayr, The Borders, Dumfries and Galloway or England!  We really are in the middle of nowhere, but close to everywhere! Lanark is our nearest town and ideal for dining out as well as being next to the famous World Heritage Site of New Lanark and the Falls of Clyde.

Here at Craigend we take the 'BED' part of Bed and Breakfast very seriously!  We believe that this is one of the most important apects of our B&B and have invested in the highest quality beds and offer guests the option to book rooms according the mattress type which suits them best.  Where else could you choose whether you have a memory foam, pocket sprung or coil sprung bed?  We also offer a choice of pillows and duvets to ensure that you sleep just as well here as you do at home....and in some cases...better!

We endeavour to maintain the quality in all of our rooms with regular updates and refurbishments. It is important to us that all our guests get the very most out of their holiday with us.  We will do everything we can before you arrive and when you are here to make sure you get the absolute best out of every single day.  Our website is packed with suggestions of things to see and do as well as suggested itineraries to get the most out of your days..

Craigend B&B sits in the end of a no through lane surrounded by agricultural land, moors and woodland.  In the last 5 years we have set about transforming a former field into an acre and a half of garden centred around a million gallon pond.  Guests are welcome to enjoy the garden and the birds that it attracts as well as acquainting themselves with our chickens and two friendly Springer Spaniels. There is an unending amount of countryside to investigate and if you forget your boots we can even lend you some!

Caigend B&B was opened in 2008 and we have consistently offered the best service and accommodation in the area. Craigend B&B has held the No1 B&B position on Trip Advisor for South Lanarkshire for the last 4 years and No 1 poistion on Trivago for all accommodation providers in Lanarkshire for the last 3 years.  We are also proud members of Scotlands Best B&Bs which showcases 96 of the best B&Bs in Scotland
