Craigend

Overview

With fabulous views over the Ayrshire coast Craigend is the perfect destination for your family holiday on the stunning Isle of Arran.

Located down a short private track it sits across the road from one of the best sandy beaches on the island - pub grub and fine dining are only five minutes walk away and the excellently stocked village shop a further 10 minutes stroll along the shore road.

The house itself sleeps 5 - one double - one twin and a single and whilst offering a traditional homely farm house atmosphere, the interior has been refurbished offering new bathrooms on both levels, a new kitchen and is centrally heated throughout. We want you to feel 'at home' from the moment you arrive and our Welcome Pack includes a home made date loaf, Arran oat cakes & cheese, butter, milk and the local paper.

The views from the house are stunning - overlooking the uninhabited islands of Pladda and Ailsa Criag, the Scottish mainland and on a clear day the coast of Northern Ireland.

Seals, otters and buzzards are just some of the wildlife on offer in Kildonan. So whether you choose to abandon the car or explore the island a little further Craigend is the ideal base for your holiday.
