Craiglea Bed & Breakfast lies on a quiet lane close to the centre of the village of Braemar. Surrounded by mountains, rivers, woodland, castles and with wildlife a plenty, Craiglea and Braemar has something for everyone.

Balmoral Castle, the Queens summer residence and major visitor attraction is just 7 miles away, the community owned Braemar castle 1 mile away you come to realise why Braemar is such a popular destination for people from around the world.
For walkers Braemar in the heart of the Cairngorms National Park has 24 mountains within the area over 3000 feet (munros) and 3 of which are over 4000 feet. We also have various local pituresque walks for all abilities from our doorstep.

Around Braemar and the surrounding countryside there are trails to suit all abilities whether it’s a gentle pedal admiring the views or a strenuous all day adventure.
With your bike hire, helmets, maps, route cards, locks, pump, & spare innertubes are provided.
If you require a packed lunch then just let us know the night before where we will only be too happy to help.
We have the highest 18 hole golf course in Scotland surrounded by mountains of which the River Clunie runs through.
Ideally situated for walking, cycling, golf, fishing, shooting, skiing and sightseeing.
